APA Hotel Ryogoku Station Tower is a 31-story tower hotel with 1,111 rooms, located next to Ryogoku Kokugikan.
It is a popular business hotel with facilities such as a large public bath, swimming pool, and fitness center.
The nearest station is Ryogoku Station. It is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the west exit for easy access to all parts of Tokyo.
Breakfast at the hotel is served at Restaurant La Veranda, which offers a Japanese and Western buffet with over 60 different items.
Here, you can enjoy breakfast as well as lunch and dinner at the buffet.
The bright sunlight coming in through the windows on the fourth floor of the hotel gives the restaurant a liberating feeling with its many seats.
Breakfast is available to non-guests as well, and meal tickets can be purchased at the restaurant front desk on the day of the breakfast.
Reservations are required for lunch and dinner.
Ryogoku’s famous Chanko-style hot pot is filled with plenty of vegetables. The tsumire is soft and has the flavor of fish. The molded carrots add color. It has a thin, gentle taste with a soy sauce base.
Other dishes include Fukagawa-meshi, a Tokyo specialty.
The beef curry, a specialty of APA Hotel, at first I thought it was mild and gentle, but as I continued eating it, I felt its spiciness. It has a very deep and delicious flavor.
There are shredded cabbage on the buffet table, which is good for reducing the spiciness. Please enjoy it with cabbage.
There are many rice accompaniments and a wide variety of Japanese dishes. There are also many side dishes, all of which are well-seasoned and go well with the rice. There is also an unusual menu item called Wakame Shabu Shabu.
Wakame from the Sanriku coast is shabu-shabu in dashi broth and served with a side of sago dashi. The wakame is soft yet firm and refreshing.
For dessert, pudding made with Okkuji egg was excellent, smooth in texture and rich in flavor.
Other desserts include bite-sized sponge cakes. The texture of the coarse sugar is delicious.
Soft ice cream is also all-you-can-eat. You can add corn flakes, strawberry sauce, blueberry sauce, etc.
I think it is good to have it in an arrangement.
