Crab Shrimp and Oyster
The other day, my friend and I visited Crab Shrimp and Oyster in Akasaka for an all-you-can-eat dinner.
This all-you-can-eat course is available for a minimum of two people and offers a variety of courses.
Reservations are required, so we made our visit with reservations in advance.
The restaurant offers a “Served a-la-carte buffet” where you can sit and enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere.
You can choose from three all-you-can-eat plans and eat for two hours.
We ordered the all-you-can-eat raw oysters, shrimp sashimi, and deep water red crab for 8,580 yen/$57.89USD (including tax) per person.
The set also includes 5 dishes designated by the restaurant.
One-drink order system was required, and the all-you-can-drink was alcohol only.
The time limit was 120 minutes, and the last order was 90 minutes.
We first ordered a single soft drink.
Tomato soup with chicken dumplings was served as an appetizer.
This was warm and delicious.
After that, raw oysters, shrimp sashimi, and deep water red crab were served.
The refills were exchanged for the plates we had finished eating.
The nice thing about oyster and shrimp refills is that you can order up to 10 oysters and shrimps at one time.
I especially recommend the “Oyster, Shrimp, and Crab All-Star Course,” which includes all-you-can-eat oysters, shrimp sashimi, and deep water red crab.
I had seen the deep water red crab in pictures, but when I actually saw it lined up in front of me, I was impressed by its fresh appearance.
The deep water red crab, characterized by its brown speckled pattern, was packed tightly with fresh meat and went well with the crab vinegar.
The all-you-can-eat menu also included a pay-as-you-go cooking option, with unlimited steamed oysters and fried oysters available for an additional fee.
We ordered an additional order of fried oysters, and the hot oysters in their crispy batter were excellent.
We also enjoyed five dishes designated by the restaurant.
The oyster and shrimp ajillo was an aromatic dish that went well with the baguette.
The crab cream croquettes and the cream pasta with sea urchin and salmon roe were also particularly recommended and were hearty and filled with flavor.
Finally, we finished with a shrimp Caesar salad and enjoyed the rich flavor of crab to the last.
With its all-you-can-eat oysters, oysters, and shrimp, Crab Shrimp and Oyster in Akasaka is a seafood lover’s paradise.
Crab Buffet Gozzo
Located on Ueno Hirokoji, Crab Buffet Gozzo is a buffet-style all-you-can-eat crab restaurant. Reservations are required and single customers are welcome.
From 2024, a new course will be available, allowing you to fully enjoy the freshest crab dishes of the day.
After entering the restaurant, the staff gave us a detailed explanation of the all-you-can-eat menu, and we chose the “all-you-can-eat crab” course, which includes an all-you-can-drink option.
The price was 9,900 yen (66.8USD), and a delicious two-hour course awaited us.
From 2024, a reasonably priced course of one red snow crab and half a snow crab will be added to the menu, offering new options.
The restaurant’s interior had a San-in feel, with a peaceful and warm atmosphere.
A number of dishes were prepared to whet your appetite just by looking at them, including piles of crab, crab legs, sashimi, and a special egg omelet with crab miso cream!
The all-you-can-eat menu included a wide variety of items such as turban shells, chicken liver, nodoguro, sandfish, grilled chicken, and french fries.
In particular, the crab innards dip was superb, sweet and mildly rich, with an exquisite flavor that went well with everything.
We also enjoyed turban shell liver simmered in soy sauce, chawan-mushi (steamed rice in a bowl), and crab miso soup, which allowed us to enjoy the full flavor of crab.
The service, which included a detailed explanation of how to handle the crab, made the meal even more enjoyable.
In addition to the all-you-can-eat buffet, Gozzo also offers a seafood barbecue.
We were able to enjoy fresh seafood such as Nodoguro and Hatahata on the spot, as well as all the drinks we could drink.
Particularly impressive was the grilled crab. Eating it hot with crab vinegar added spread the best flavor.
The restaurant also prepared ramen noodles, crab fried rice, and other dishes perfect for finishing the meal, which was a delicious way to end the meal.
The all-you-can-eat experience at Gozzo was a great way to enjoy the delicious taste of crab and the flavor of the Sanin region, thanks to the variety of dishes and the friendly staff.
When you visit Ueno Hirokoji, try Crab Buffet Gozzo for a blissful experience.
