A luxurious morning experience! A Wide Variety of Menu at Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel’s Breakfast Buffet

all you can eat

Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel

Today, I visited the breakfast buffet at the Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel.
Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel is conveniently located from the nearest train station, making it an ideal location for both sightseeing and business.
This time, I decided to enjoy the breakfast buffet at “Georgetown” on the first floor of the hotel.

Lines formed even before the restaurant opened

This buffet opens at 6:30 a.m., but due to its popularity, a line formed even before the restaurant opened.
Outside users must purchase a breakfast ticket at the hotel front desk.
Upon entering the restaurant, the staff politely guided us to our seats.
The counter seating offers a view of the outside and allows you to enjoy your meal while basking in the pleasant morning light.

Menu with a special attention to detail

The newly renovated Georgetown, which opened on October 15, 2024, offers a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese breakfast menus. Adults pay 3,080 yen (tax included) from 6:30 to 10:00 on weekdays (until 10:30 on weekends and holidays).
It is also nice to know that you can eat as much as you want for an unlimited amount of time.
First, let’s take a look at the buffet table.
The menu is colorful and eye-catching.
We will start with the most popular seafood section.

The Appeal of Kaisen Donburi

Here you can make your own original Kaisen-don.
Fresh Hokkaido Monbetsu scallops, negitoro (tuna), salmon roe, and other gorgeous toppings are available.
You take your own rice from the “rice robot” and choose your favorite ingredients to make your Kaisen-don.

I tried it myself right away.
First, take some white rice, then top it with kohada, shirasu (baby sardines), and tuna cheeks.
This tuna cheek is a rare part of the tuna and has a tender, meat-like texture.
And grilled scallops are also added.
The scallops were fragrant and browned, and had a wonderful crunchy texture.

Topped with green onions, aonori (green laver), wasabi (Japanese horseradish), onsen tamago (hot spring egg), and lemon, the kaisendon is complete to your liking.
You can enjoy the plumpness of salmon roe that melts in your mouth and the exquisite taste of vinegared kohada.

Delicious Japanese food

Next, let’s move on to the Japanese food corner.
Here, you will find a rich lineup of dishes such as grilled beef rib, deep-fried tofu, silver salmon, fried horse mackerel, and more.
In particular, the grilled beef belly has a firm texture and the vegetables are well soaked in the sweet and spicy flavor.

The deep-fried tofu is covered with a gently sweet starchy sauce that melts in your mouth.
Also, the silver salmon is plump and has just the right balance of saltiness.
The fried horse mackerel is served with grated radish and sauce, and the flavor of the horse mackerel spreads with the crispy batter.

The miso soup is also very filling, and the gentle taste of the broth is calming.
We were very satisfied with the Japanese plate, enjoying its deep flavor with each bite.

A Variety of Western Cuisine

Next, let’s move on to the Western food corner.
Here, you will find pork shoulder steak, roasted white fish, sausages, scrambled eggs, French fries, and more.
The pork shoulder steak is especially thick, and the meat is cooked at a low temperature, making it juicy and delicious.

The scrambled eggs are thick and slightly salty, and are satisfying on their own.
There is also beef curry, whose spiciness makes it perfect for breakfast.

Bread and freshly fried happiness

Bread is also an essential part of breakfast.
There is a wide variety of freshly fried curry bread and fried bread, as well as croissants, mini kaisers, black sesame bread, and more. You can even rebake them in the toaster for a crispy texture.

I especially like the fried bread. When sprinkled with powdered sugar, it has a subtle sweetness that is irresistible.
Also, the curry bread is excellent with its thick curry filling.

Special Menu and Desserts

Here you can also enjoy special dishes such as cream soup with vegetarian soup stock, glutinous chestnut rice, cold tofu steak, and bolognese with mushrooms and dried tofu.
Fruits, cereals, and yogurt are also available for your morning nourishment.

The dessert corner features French toast, pudding, and petit cakes.
The French toast is made with hotel bread soaked in Earl Grey and baked with butter, making it aromatic and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
The pudding was also gently sweet and a perfect ending to breakfast.

Conclusion

The breakfast buffet at Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel offers a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, all of which are outstandingly delicious. In addition to the quality of the food, the service provided by the staff was attentive and comfortable.
This buffet is perfect for a single person, family, or friends.
I would definitely like to return next time and invite my friends.
