Hello everyone, this is Aya!
Today, I visited an all-you-can-eat crab restaurant that boasts explosive popularity in Aichi, which has finally made its first appearance in Tokyo!
The name of the restaurant is Kanizanmai Kichijoji, and it offers a luxurious all-you-can-eat menu including snow crab and sushi.
First of all, it is conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from the nearest station, Kichijoji Station, so access is excellent.
When you arrive at the entrance of the restaurant, you will be guided to the second floor after completing the reception on the first floor.
I chose the all-you-can-eat snow crab course for 5,980 yen.
This course allows you to enjoy the gorgeous snow crab as much as you like, and you can also rent a table-top stove for an additional 300 yen to grill your own seafood.
All courses also include all-you-can-drink soft drinks.
The tabletop is fully prepared with crab scissors and plates.
First, you order your meal by scanning the QR code.
The service is also available in a choice of languages, making it easy for foreign tourists to use.
The first dish to appear was a snow crab!
The size is medium, but it is beautiful and fresh to look at.
I took a bite of it with crab vinegar and was impressed by the fresh crab meat spreading in my mouth and its sweetness.
The crab meat was well filled and I enjoyed the firm texture of the crab.
Crab lovers can’t get enough of tasting crab!
Another attraction of this restaurant is the all-you-can-eat sushi.
I ordered the three-piece tuna platter, which included a wide variety of items such as red meat, medium fatty tuna, and negitoro hand roll, and the pieces were large enough to eat.
The quality of the sushi was high, and it was a pleasant surprise to enjoy the freshness of the seafood as well as the crab.
Next, we ordered a seafood set including shrimp, scallops, squid, and giant clams, which we decided to grill ourselves on the stove.
The pleasure of grilling at your own pace is exceptional.
The plump scallops and fragrant shrimp were very satisfying.
The squid was tender and had a robust flavor as it was. The giant clams had crispy shells and were full of flavor. Such enjoyment of grilled seafood is one of the attractions of Kanizanmai Kichijoji.
In addition to the crab dishes, the restaurant offers a variety of other delicacies that should not be missed. The crab cream croquette was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, and the sweetness of the crab could be felt.
The crab dumpling was also very tender, and the flavor of the crab was soft and fluffy in the mouth. Both dishes are served quickly and are highly satisfying.
For dessert, there was puffed ice cream and apricot jelly, which were a refreshing after-meal treat.
The soft ice cream was especially delicious with a refreshing sweetness when served with mango sauce.
Even the desserts are well prepared, which is a nice touch at the end of an all-you-can-eat meal.
Kanizanmai Kichijoji offers all-you-can-eat courses starting at 4,980 yen.
Prices vary depending on the type and size of crab.
We chose the medium size snow crab this time, but there is also a 2L size available, so you can choose according to your own preference.
Seating time is 100 minutes, and last order is 80 minutes.
Kanizanmai Kichijoji is truly a dream come true for crab lovers.
The seats are spacious, so you can relax and enjoy your meal.
